BIO

Kara, a distinguished professional, holds a B.A. in Journalism from Eastern Washington University and earned her J.D. from Willamette University College of Law in Salem, Oregon. During her tenure in law school, Kara actively engaged with the Public Defenders Association and notably contributed to the Oregon Criminal Defense Lawyers Association. Her commitment extended to various organizations, including Moot Court, the Young Lawyers Society, and the Women’s Law Caucus.

Relocating to the greater Philadelphia area post-graduation, Kara commenced her legal journey at a prominent defense firm, specializing in premises liability and asbestos litigation. In 2018, she pivoted her focus to champion the rights of hundreds of women affected by the ParaGard IUD, navigating complex mass tort, class action, and litigation against major pharmaceutical entities.

Kara’s unwavering dedication to her clients continues to drive her practice in Criminal Defense and Family Law. Returning to Washington State in late 2020, Kara established her own practice, committed to providing accessible, affordable legal representation across Lincoln, Adams, Stevens, Whitman, and Spokane Counties.

Beyond her legal prowess, Kara is an avid reader and a passionate traveler who dedicates her spare time to community service. In 2020, she founded 3 Iron Rations, Inc., a non-profit leveraging culinary therapy to combat veteran isolation and address veteran suicide. Additionally, she established Legally Savage, a platform empowering female lawyers entering the legal profession.
